Where
do we meet?
We
meet in the Pavilion in
Rushmere Close, Bow Brickhill
When
do we meet?
We
meet on the first and
third Thursday of each month, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A list of
meeting dates, together with the planned activities, can be found on
the "Current programme" page.
How
much does it cost?
You
pay £1 per evening, but
your first visit is absolutely free!
Occasionally, we organise outside trips for which there
will be a
separate charge (e.g. paintballing, adventure centre).
What
do we do?
We
try to arrange a variety
of activities to suit all ages and interests, and vary it each week. You can see forthcoming
activities by looking at the Current Programme.
There’s table tennis and a mini pool table,
computer games (including our latest acquisition, a Nintendo Wii),
opportunities to do crafts and, in the warmer weather, playing football
and
other games outside or just using the play equipment in the area next
to the
Pavilion. Or, of
course, you can just
chat to your friends.
How
do I join?
Your
first visit is
absolutely free! If
you decide you like
it, we ask you to complete a registration form (see "Forms")
and give you a copy of the rules
(yes, there are rules, but they’re designed to make sure that
you have a safe
and enjoyable time).
Can
I find out more before I decide to come along?
If
you’d like to talk to
someone before coming along, any of the following would be very pleased
to hear
from you:
Stuart
Leeming
- 01908 372032
Nick
Wagstaff
- 01908 372192
Beverley
Thompson – 01908
372192
Do you need more
helpers?
We
certainly do! It
doesn’t have to be a regular commitment
(though that would be welcome) but we’d love to hear from any
adults (18+) who
can offer any support e.g. occasional workshops in a sport, skill or
craft. If you think
you’d like to help, contact any
of the above to find out more.
